South Africa gets One Small Town Ambassador

I am extremely pleased and proud to announce the appointment of Romeo Sphiwe Seyama, as the first ONE SMALL TOWN Ambassador for South Africa. This is very important to me personally, being a South African, and the fact that the UBUNTU Movement and the OST philosophy was born here. But even more so, because of Romeo’s incredible journey of commitment and determination to spread the UBUNTU spirit in his own right.
We first met in 2010, when Romeo came to the very first public meeting of the then newly formed UBUNTU Party. He was deeply inspired by the message and started a journey of community building of his own. Since then he has raised R12 million rand – which in the USA would be equivalent in value to the same amount – for a community project along very similar lines to ONE SMALL TOWN. Look out for the interview with Romeo coming soon. He joins the growing team of international OST ambassadors as the 11th member. His track record is impeccable – his spirit is pure and he is committed to rejuvenate communities all over SA.
Furthermore, he carries a high level of credibility because of his accomplishments and has good contacts with many mayors, councilors and community leaders, to introduce to the ONE SMALL TOWN plan. I look forward to a rapid growth and uptake of the OST plan in South Africa with Romeo’s arrival.
In unity – Michael Tellinger
